Preventing child labour in textile worker communities

In 2025, Traid is proud to commit £59,977 to build on our work with the NGO GoodWeave to prevent child labour in the rug, textiles, and garment sector by supporting at-risk children and child labourers into education to create a brighter future. Supporting children out of waste picking

Since 2023, we have supported Grambangla’s efforts to reduce social and economic inequality by providing education scholarships for 60 vulnerable girls. Expanding Benin’s organic cotton sector

Since 2009, Traid has funded the work of OBEPAB and PAN UK to establish the organic cotton sector in Benin, West Africa.
