TRAID is a registered charity that is all about fashion. We stop good garments from being thrown away, because when clothes go into our rubbish, they end up playing a huge part in the acceleration of global warming.
If you’re based outside of London, you can now donate clothes by post for FREE to TRAID via any Collect+ location in the UK.
It’s simple and easy to do:
- Download your free post label. You will receive a confirmation email with a postage label attached which you can print off at home or at your local Collect+ store.
- Pack up your donations in a secure parcel. Your parcel can weigh a minimum of 1kg (around 3-5 items) to a maximum 10kg of clothing (equivalent to around 30 items), in a 60cm x 50cm x 50cm parcel.
- Post it! Attach the label, and drop your parcel off at your nearest Collect+ store. (If you don’t have a printer you can print the label in-store)
- TRAID will do the rest!
What can you donate to TRAID?
We ask that you send us clean, good quality clothes so that we can resell them in our charity shops.
We accept:
✅ Clothes (men’s, women’s and children’s)
✅ Shoes
✅ Bags
✅ Jewellery and accessories
✅ Linens such as curtains
We do not accept:
❌ Duvets or pillows
❌ Books
❌ CDs or DVDs
❌ Furniture or bulky items
For furniture, we suggest trying Sue Ryder or the British Heart Foundation.
If you’re based in London, please book a free home collection or donate in-store instead.
