TRAID’s education team were invited to run some upcycling workshops at Standon Calling this year.

With a Latin American theme and an abundance of brightly coloured reclaimed fabric, festival goers were encouraged to create an outfit fit for a carnival.

Amongst the upcycled outfits was a kite turned into butterfly wings.

In collaboration with Selva Project the carnival was a feast of colours and textures, proving upcycling is something to be celebrated at all ages!
