Pupils will need to have completed The Secret Life of Clothes before taking this module. We work with pupils to turn knowledge into practical change and action. They will work in groups to come up with ideas and actions of how to reduce their fashion footprint. Each group will decide and agree on an action which they will work towards throughout the term. TRAID will support pupil’s actions with resources and extra help as required. Examples of pupil-led actions include:-

  • Pupils giving a school assembly to their peers on the importance of recycling our clothes
  • Devising a play about the fashion industry to share with other classes
  • Creating a proposal and petition for a textile bank at their school to collect unwanted clothes
  • Running a clothing drive at their school
  • Running a clothes swap for their school
  • Having a fashion show to raise money for a TRAID project/school improvement
