Join us and the Islington Fixers for a special pre-screen repair workshop at the iconic Barbican Centre, celebrating the craft, creativity, and storytelling of yarn.

Taking place as part of Yarn Stories, a screening of short-form documentaries exploring dyeing, weaving, quilting, lacemaking and embroidery, this is a chance to reimagine your clothes and give them a second life through repair.

Bring along one or two items from your wardrobe and learn how to mend and repair them with support from our expert visible menders. We will provide the materials needed to fix your garments and examples of mended items.

No booking is required, all walk-in menders are welcome to take part in the workshop.

To attend the Yarn Stories screening check out the Barbican’s booking page.
