The Hackney Repair Café is a free community event where participants will learn how to mend their clothes. Please bring along one or two items of clothing that are in need of repair and we will teach you how to mend them.

All our workshops are suitable for those with no previous skills and we will have examples of clothes that have been repaired, as well as materials to practice on.

Free reserved ticketed bookings are available between 11am-2pm, where the final hour of this event is open to walk-in menders to join in the workshop.

This event is presented by the Traid in partnership with the London Borough of Hackney.
