Last weekend we were invited along to Brainchild Festival in Bentley Country Park, East Sussex.

The festival, now in it’s 4th year, was set up by a group of 19 year olds specifically aimed at the 18-25 year age group with talks, workshops, spoken word, theatre, installations and live music.

We arrived armed with needles and thread to a beautiful field filled with young eager people wanting to learn to sew. We taught festival goers how to mend their broken denim, refashion unwanted T-shirts into useful shopper bags or fun finger knitted accessories.
