What items can I donate?
When you donate to Traid, your items fund projects that are changing fashion for good.
The better the quality, the more we can raise for our projects. That’s why we’ve created the Closet Code too , four simple questions to guide what you donate:
- 1. Is it clean and ready to wear?
- 2. Would you gift it to a friend?
- 3. Does it still have life in it?
- 4. Would you buy it second-hand?

Bags
Jewellery & accessories
Household linens
such as curtains
Please don’t give us:
Damaged and/or soiled clothes
Duvets or pillows
CDs or DVDs
Furniture or bulky items
Whilst we can accept small household items alongside your main clothing donation, we can’t take furniture or bulky items.
