Did you know that 30 items in your wardrobe are unworn – that’s 25% of your clothes. Let’s put them to work.
Every item you donate helps keep good clothes in use for longer and funds our global projects, supporting garment workers and creating long-term change in the fashion industry.

We’re delighted to be supported again by a host of familiar faces and sustainable advocates, including Martin Freeman, Sharon Horgan, Patrick Grant, Jim Moir (aka Vic Reeves), Nancy Sorrell, Caryn Franklin, Paul Smith of Maxïmo Park, Sabrina Grant and Mary Mandefield; all donating from their own wardrobes.

“Great to be supporting Traid’s Closet Clear Out Challenge this year – such a simple ask, donate your unwanted quality clothes and help support hugely worthwhile charity projects that urgently need funding. By donating x12 garments, you could help power a helpline for exploited garment workers in India. Will you help us reach 250,000 donations this summer? Thank you”.

“I’m delighted to be taking part in the second year of Traid’s Closet Clearout Challenge. Last year we helped make over 250,000 garment donations happen, raising loads of much needed cash for Traid’s projects. But I know there’s lots more good stuff lurking in the nation’s wardrobes unworn and unloved, so please have another rummage and let your unwanted clothes do a bunch of good.”

“I’m very happy to be joining Traid’s Closet Clear-out Challenge. Like a lot of people, I’ve held onto clothes I don’t wear anymore, and this is the perfect reason to finally let them go for someone else to love. We’re aiming to reach 250,000 donations this summer and need your help. To get involved, it’s really simple—all you have to do is Pick. Click. Collect. Thank you to everyone who is supporting the Challenge.”

“I’m thrilled to be supporting Traid’s Closet Clear-out Challenge for a second year. This year I’m donating vintage items from Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren and Vivienne Westwood and Eco labels Junky Styling, Nauhui Ollin and People Tree.
Did you know just 36 donated items can sponsor a full month of classroom sessions for 200 children in India, helping to rehabilitate former child labourers in the textile industry. So go on—clear out your wardrobe and let your clothes make a real difference.”
